Renewable Thermal Collaborative Successfully Launches at Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance Summit 2017

Marty Spitzer, Senior Director for Climate and Renewable Energy at the World Wildlife Fund US (WWF) and Steve Skarda, Global Climate and Energy Leader at Procter & Gamble, successfully launched the Renewable Thermal Collaborative with an announcement at the 2017 Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance (REBA) Summit in California in September. Bryn Baker, WWF’s Manager of Renewable Energy Program, also moderated a Facebook Live discussion with Renewable Thermal Collaborative Steering Committee Members Lauren Smith from General Motors, Steve Skarda from P&G, and Winston Chen from Mars. You can watch the full discussion below.

The Collaborative generated significant interest at REBA; more than 60 participants joined in initial discussions on thermal energy and renewable solutions. GreenBiz also covered the RTC launch in an article titled Hot topic: It takes more than clean power to reach renewables targets.
