Webinar: Does Solar Thermal Make Sense for Your Organization? Solar Thermal C&I Decarbonization Series Part 1

Posted on Posted in Past Events

Solar thermal is an established renewable thermal technology, but it has received far less attention in recent years than solar photovoltaics (PV). The Renewable Thermal Collaborative is taking a two-part look at the state and potential of this exciting technology in 2020.

On Thursday, May 28 from 1-2pm ET, the RTC presented the first session on solar thermal. RTC Sponsors SunDrum Solar and Solar UV Solutions shared insights from their respective experiences deploying two different cutting-edge solar thermal technologies in the field. Listeners will come away from the discussion with a refreshed sense of what solar thermal can do, how it might address their specific needs, and how to identify potential implementation opportunities.

A second session later this year will share new solar thermal-related research and analysis from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

Speakers included:

  • Don Frank, Founder and Owner, Solar UV Solutions
  • Michael G. Intrieri, Founder and CEO, SunDrum® Solar
  • Blaine Collison, Senior Vice President, David Gardiner and Associates (facilitator)
