Tennessee Natural Gas Innovation Act

The state of Tennessee authorizes public utilities to request mechanisms to recover the costs related to the development of infrastructure for “innovative natural gas resources,” including biogas, renewable natural gas, biomass, and green hydrogen. This is not an incentive but allows for the recovery of costs through utility rate cases.
