Renewable Energy Facility Sales and Use Tax Reimbursement

Under the Reinvestment Payment Program, new projects with costs exceeding $20,000,000 or with equipment upgrades greater than $2,000,000 can apply for a reinvestment payment no later than 90 days after starting construction. If the Board of Economic Development approves an application, a project owner will be returned all the taxes owed on a project.
