Property Tax Exemption for Renewable Energy Systems

The construction or installation of a solar energy system on property classified as commercial or industrial will not increase the taxable values of the property for five full assessment years. This legislation defines solar energy to include solar thermal and separate storage apparatuses (e.g. thermal storage).
