The RTC kicked off February with our third annual Partnership Workshops, bringing together industrial energy buyers and renewable thermal solutions providers to accelerate industrial decarbonization. Global staff from RTC Members connected with their choice of RTC Solutions Providers, resulting in 79 focused, one-on-one meetings during which more than 115 total participants explored deployment opportunities and potential collaborations.
The RTC designed this event in consultation with our Members to best support their decarbonization goals. The format provides energy users with private, pre-competitive* spaces to connect with providers showcasing the full range of renewable thermal solutions, including solar thermal, industrial heat pumps, thermal batteries, renewable natural gas, green hydrogen, project finance, and critical advisory and engineering services. The workshops allow companies to efficiently explore the many pathways available as they map their route for decarbonizing heat use.
These workshops are just one example of the networking opportunities available exclusively to RTC Members and Solutions Providers. Throughout the year, our community connects through regular working group meetings, monthly Community Calls, and our annual in-person RTC Summit. Bringing together large thermal energy demand and emissions-cutting solutions is a key pillar of the RTC’s mission to accelerate the transition to clean industrial heat.
Building on insights from this year’s success, the RTC will enhance future workshops to deliver even more value to participants. We’re expanding our structured networking initiatives through the Industrial Heat Pump (IHP) Alliance’s upcoming “buyer-supplier connection sessions” this spring.
