Hydrogen Shot

The Hydrogen Shot program was the first branch of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Energy Earthshots Initiative announced in June of 2021. It aims to accelerate advancements of more affordable and reliable clean energy solutions. The program seeks to reduce the cost of clean hydrogen by 80%, to $1 per kilogram in one decade.
