The initial product of this work was a global warming potential (GWP) Bio tool available as an Excel download.
Workstream activity is on hold as the RTC awaits updated greenhouse gas accounting rules from the World Resources Institute (WRI) expected to be released in the second half of 2022. When the working group convenes, it will seek clarity on how various biomass products will be treated in the protocol.
The World Wildlife Fund, a co-convener of the RTC, hosted a webinar to review the GWP Bio tool.
