RTC Summit 2025: Moving Forward

By Alyssa Kagel

The 2025 RTC Summit was a huge success—thank you to our sponsors, speakers, program committee, and attendees for making it our best event yet.

This year’s program focused on the nuts and bolts of thermal decarbonization, equipping buyers with practical tools to move projects forward. Attendees represented a wide range of roles—from engineering and energy management to regulatory affairs and procurement—underscoring a key takeaway: Scope 1 decarbonization succeeds when it’s a collaborative effort, whether across teams within one organization or among companies connected through the RTC community.

Despite an uncertain political climate in Washington, D.C., industrial end users are staying the course in pursuing their decarbonization goals. Solutions providers are continuing to innovate, expand project pipelines, and introduce new technologies and services to support that momentum.

One buyer captured the spirit of the Summit best: he shared that he wasn’t sure he’d learn anything new this year—but by the end, his notebook was filled with actionable insights, new connections, and ideas for faster and more efficient renewable thermal deployment.
