Businesses, non-profits, tribal governments, building owners, and government programs can apply for a portion of $9.7 million of annual grants for building electrification demonstration and deployment projects. Projects must reduce greenhouse gas emissions and occur in all-electric buildings. Funding is available in two tracks: Track 1 projects will expand the deployment of grid-interactive buildings and Track 2 projects will support the installation of electric equipment and fuel switching. Projects reducing costs and energy use for disadvantaged communities will be prioritized for funding.
