Solar and Wind Energy Business Franchise Tax Exemption

This program provides an exemption from Texas’ franchise tax, which is equivalent to a corporate tax. Section 171.107 of the tax code, which contains more information, specifies solar energy devices with thermal applications as well as for storage are eligible. There is no ceiling on this exemption.
