Inventory of Biogas by the Department of Energy

The State Department of Energy must develop and maintain an inventory of biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) resources available to the state. This inventory can include potential sources and their estimated production quantities, estimates of the range of technologies available to the state, and a list of existing production sites. The Department must use this database to produce information and identify barriers to the deployment of RNG in the state. It must also appoint an advisory committee to use this information to recommend policies to promote RNG to the department.
