The Commercial & Industrial Carbon Challenge gives non-residential energy users resources to access cost-effective decarbonization opportunities. Winners work one-on-one with NYSERDA to pursue projects. Awards can be used to fund a single large project or a portfolio of projects. All proposals must include beneficial electrification, carbon capture, manufacturing process emission reductions or low-carbon fuel projects. Eligible applicants include large energy consumers from a variety of sectors.
