Clean Energy Fund >  Innovation & Research

The Innovation & Research portfolio is one of four portfolios associated with the New York State Clean Energy Fund. It is dedicated to driving innovation across climate technology sectors through direct investments in R&D and early-stage companies and seeks to fund “incubators, accelerators, prizes, and similar programs.” This portfolio includes $621 million of programmatic funding over 10 years and pursues goals relevant to renewable thermal technology, such as “renewables optimization.” This fund has driven over 37 demonstrations.
