Bulk Energy Storage Incentive Program

NYSERDA has a Bulk Energy Storage Incentive program that provides commercial customers with funding for standalone energy storage, either grid-connected or paired with on-site generation such as solar. The requirements specify that thermal storage may be used but that technology must be “commercially-available.” Projects cannot exceed 5 MW (AC). To become a participating contractor, one must submit an online contractor application.
