Renewable Energy Tax Abatements – Property, Sales, and Use Tax Abatement

The Renewable Energy Tax Abatement came under the jurisdiction of the Governor’s Office of Energy’s jurisdiction in July 2009. It allows for partial sales, use, and property tax abatements for eligible renewable facilities. To qualify, facilities must submit an abatement application to the Office of Energy.
