The Nevada Clean Energy Fund seeks to increase the pace and amount of financing available for qualified clean energy projects in the state. It is functionally a Green Bank, as it seeks to help deploy renewables such as solar and geothermal using a variety of financing structures. These structures include loans, credit enhancements, warehousing, and securitization. The Fund seeks to generally leverage and increase private investment in renewables. It works with a variety of stakeholders, including utilities and project developers.
