The C3 Accelerator, hosted by Centrepolis at Lawrence Technological University, supports growth-stage clean tech, climate tech, and circular economy businesses by driving the adoption of their technology in Michigan. They promote the development of products that advance renewable electricity, energy efficiency, and other clean tech innovations. Support is offered through funding, pilot, and demonstration project cost share, fundraising, training, prototyping, partnerships, and more. The state provided $1.55 million in seed funding to Lawrence Technological University to develop the C3 Accelerator. The average investment per company is $50,000, which the client pays back after 24 months in addition to a success fee.
