The Maryland Energy Administration provides grants to local governments, state agencies, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and communities to support energy efficiency, renewable energy, and transportation petroleum-reduction projects. MEA funds four grant programs: the Clean Energy for Local Governments Program (CELG); the Public Facilities Solar Program (PFS); the Streetlight and Outdoor Lighting Efficiency Program (SOLE); and the Clean Energy and Community Development Pilot Program (CECD).
