Commercial Clean Energy Rebate Program

The Maryland Energy Administration provides Commercial Clean Energy Rebates to businesses, nonprofits, local and state government agencies, and others to install clean energy systems. Qualifying systems include solar PV, solar thermal systems, and geothermal heat pumps. For solar thermal systems, the rebate is $20/sq. ft., with a $12,000 maximum. For geothermal heat pumps the rebate amount is $3,000, plus $400 for every 10 tons of capacity, with a maximum of $12,000.
