The Idaho Governor’s Office of Energy and Mineral Resources (OEMR) State Energy Loan Program offers low-interest loans for energy projects for homes and businesses located in Idaho. Loans are available for renewable energy projects, HVAC systems, insulation, appliances, and more. Loans to commercial, multi-family, agricultural, and industrial facilities must exceed $1,000 but not $150,000. Typical technologies listed on the application form include wind energy, small hydropower generation, geothermal, and solar photovoltaic; however, the form includes an option to apply with any other renewable energy technology, so long as the applicant describes the project.
