Renewable Gas Study

Hawaii Senate Bill 2818 (2020) requires a study determining the economic and technical feasibility of renewable gas in Hawaii, which it defines as biogas, hydrogen gas derived from renewable energy sources or carbon dioxide from waste. The potential will be considered for end use by residential, commercial, and industrial users as well as for the transportation sector.
