CT EO 21-3 calls for 23 actions including developing a plan for reducing heating and cooling emissions in commercial and industrial buildings and processes, updating the state building code to prioritize GHG emissions reductions, purchasing 100% zero-carbon electricity, updating appliance standards for efficiency, opening an Office of Climate and Pubic Health, establishing the Connecticut Equity and Environmental Justice Advisory Council and Connecticut Clean Economy Council, training the clean economy workforce, and requiring an annual report from the Governor’s Council on Climate Change.
