Biomethane Promotion Policies and Program

This law extends policies and programs currently implemented by California’s Public Utilities Commission to facilitate the development of biomethane through December 31, 2026. It increases the maximum incentive for biomethane projects from $1.5 million to $3 million, and to $5 million for dairy cluster biomethane projects.
