Environmental Assistance Low-Interest Loans for Small Businesses

For small businesses (those that employ 100 or fewer), the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality offers environmental assistance loans for several pollution prevention goals, such as “reduction of waste, effluents, and emissions at the source.” Under this definition, investments in certain technologies, such as biomass and biogas, may be eligible for loans. The loans are capped at a lifetime maximum of $65,000.
