Today, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations selected 33 projects across more than 20 states to be part of the single largest industrial decarbonization effort in U.S. history. Funded through President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, projects will help decarbonize some of the most energy-intensive industries including the Food & Beverage, Chemicals, Pulp & Paper sectors and more.

“The RTC congratulates the five RTC Members and three RTC Solutions Providers that are included in the selected projects. RTC Members receiving funding include Diageo, Eastman, International Paper, Kraft Heinz, and Unilever. RTC Solutions Providers include Antora Energy, Electrified Thermal Solutions, Rondo Energy, and Skyven. These companies and projects will help accelerate and scale industrial decarbonization using renewable thermal technologies including electric boilers, industrial heat pumps, thermal batteries, and solar thermal. And they’ll help scale transformative business models that enable more companies to deploy solutions faster.”
