LinkedIn Live: Community Benefits Handbook Release Preview

On January 22, 2026, the RTC held a LinkedIn Live previewing the RTC Community Benefits Handbook. Carlos Claussell of the World Wildlife Fund joined by Trina Mallik of the RTC Community Benefits Advisory Board and Yinka Bode-George of the Sustain Our Future Foundation to share the context and purpose of the handbook along with what to expect from the release webinar on January 24.

A community benefits approach is key to derisking investments in renewable energy and decarbonization technologies and advancing corporate responsibility goals. This handbook will help users align sustainability with social, economic, and environmental co-benefits for local and disadvantaged communities, and also meet community benefits requirements tied to federal and state tax credits, grants, and municipal ordinances.
