Electrification Working Group

The RTC hosts regular working group meetings designed to support the collaboration and information-sharing that are fundamental to our work. The calls are open to all RTC Members and Solutions Providers.

This meeting will kick off the MySparkGap learning series and discuss RTC’s work on electric rate reforms in the United States.

The MySparkGap series will help practitioners go beyond thinking about the difference in price between electricity and natural gas from only energy market data and instead define it based on facility-level assessments. Through presentations and discussions, we will present techniques that can help practitioners better understand existing facility-level heating efficiencies across global operations and how that affects the opportunities for electrifying energy-intensive unit operations and utility loops.
