The Renewable Thermal Collaborative (RTC) will host our annual Summit on October 19-20, 2023, in Washington, DC. The Summit is the only event convening the full range of actors focused on eliminating the 39% of global emissions from heating and cooling. Attendees hail from some of the world’s leading thermal energy buyers, solutions providers, NGOs, and governments, and the program will dive deep into all the major issues that impact thermal decarbonization.
The newly updated agenda covers critical issues across policy, markets, and technology. Panels will cover U.S. state and federal policy, community benefits and engagement, and GHG accounting. Sustainability leaders from a range of industrial heat buyers will provide insight into the different strategies they are employing to tackle project financing and decarbonize their global footprints. At roundtable discussions, experts will share updates on the innovations driving electrification, green hydrogen, renewable natural gas (RNG), solar thermal, and thermal energy storage.
In addition to plugging into the latest discussion around renewable thermal energy, attendees can network with the whole chain of people making carbon-free heat happen: engineers working on renewable technologies, policymakers, investors, and financiers supporting deployments, and, of course, the business leaders putting it all together to decarbonize their operations. Representatives of RTC Members including Cargill, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, and Roche will be in attendance. Peter Dahm, Sustainability Director at Cargill, said of last year’s Summit: “The attendees are what make or break these sorts of events – that was the main reason I attended the RTC Summit… it had just the right people…. This was one of the best conferences I’ve attended in a while.”
This year’s RTC Summit relies on the backing of Sponsors providing a range of renewable thermal technologies and services, including heat pump providers, RNG producers, solar thermal and thermal energy storage developers, project financiers, and sustainability advisors. The conference’s platinum Sponsor, NextEra Energy Resources, is the world’s largest producer of solar and wind energy, a leader in deploying battery storage, and a key driver of scaling green hydrogen. The increase in number of Sponsors, up to 16 from the seven at last year’s Summit, underscores the event’s value. Thank you to all our event Ssponsors!
The RTC Summit 2023 is this year’s premier event for accelerating the decarbonization of heating and cooling. Register today to secure your spot!
