The Hydrogen Economy Task Force, created by Public Act 102-1086, is tasked with creating a plan to facilitate the deployment of hydrogen in the state. Membership will consist of 24 Members, including appointments from the Illinois General Assembly, the governor’s office, trade associations, community-based organizations, and others. The Task Force will create, support, develop, or partner with any hydrogen hub that emerges in the state, identify opportunities and barriers to integrating hydrogen into different sectors, and recommend policies to catalyze the deployment of hydrogen.
