The Michigan Clean Heat Roundtable, hosted by the Industrial Heat Pump Alliance, will bring together industrial energy users, clean heat solution providers, utilities, state agencies, and other stakeholders to explore practical opportunities to accelerate deployment of clean industrial heat solutions in Michigan. The session will focus on addressing near-term deployment barriers, including project economics, technical assistance, utility engagement, incentive design, and alignment with broader state industrial decarbonization planning.
The intended outcome is to surface priority policy needs, promising program concepts, and areas where industry, utilities, solution providers, and state agencies may be able to collaborate more effectively to move clean heat projects from interest to implementation. Participant input will help inform the development of Michigan’s industrial decarbonization roadmap and associated recommendations.
This virtual session will be approximately four hours long and is scheduled to take place in July. The exact date and time are currently being finalized.
