This program, administered by the State Energy Conservation Office, offers grants for the demonstration of sustainable and innovative utilization of energy resources, including biomass and solar thermal projects. Grants may also be used for “other appropriate low-emission, renewable, and sustainable energy applications.” The State Energy Conservation Office may require grant recipients to match a portion of the funds awarded.
