All public K-12 schools, special school districts, achievement school districts, and charter schools in Tennessee are eligible to apply for loans to finance qualifying capital outlay energy efficiency projects. Loans can finance construction, repair, or rehabilitation efforts. Low-interest loans up to $5 million are available with a maximum term of 16 years. The loan repayment term cannot exceed the useful life of the equipment receiving financing.
