The Energy Efficiency Revolving Loan Fund is geared primarily towards energy efficiency projects in businesses and industry, but can also be available to nonprofits, utilities, and government entities under certain circumstances. Loans are typically between $50,000 and $1,000,000 with a maximum loan period of 10 years. Applicants must have a technical analysis by an credentialed engineer or energy manager included in the application. This program is administered by the Business Development Corporation in partnership with the South Carolina Jobs-Economic Development Authority.
