Oregon offers a tax exemption up to 100% for renewable energy systems including systems using solar, geothermal, landfill gas, and biomethane energy. Any change in real market value resulting from the installation of any of these renewable energy systems is exempt from the property’s assessed value for the purposes of property tax liability. This exemption is available through July 1, 2029.
