The Ohio Air Quality Development Authority (OAQDA) administers the Clean Air Improvement Program. The program provides financing for pollution control projects, energy efficiency projects, and renewable energy projects through bond financing. The OAQDA is also authorized to approve tax exemptions up to 100% on tangible personal property tax, real property tax, sales and use tax, and income tax related to OAQDA issued bonds and notes for qualifying projects. Financing is available for projects using a wide range of renewable energy and energy efficiency systems.
