OPEN Energy Grant Program

The Maryland Energy Administration offers a non-competitive grant program to consider proposals that fall outside the range of its other energy programs. A total of $1.1 million is expected to be available in fiscal year 2023, and awards will typically be up to $250,000, with larger awards possible for exceptional proposals. Eligible applicants include businesses, nonprofits, local governments, state governments, and educational institutions.
