The Maryland Clean Energy Capital Financing Program provides projects with access to lower-cost capital and an advantageous finance structure for projects that include renewable energy production and energy efficiency measures. Eligible participants include governments, institutions, nonprofit organizations, and business entities. For purposes of this program, clean energy includes solar thermal, geothermal, biofuels, and fuel cells that produce energy from biofuels, ethanol, or other qualifying biomass.
