The Illinois Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program allows owners of eligible commercial, nonprofit, non-residential agricultural, or industrial buildings to finance up to 100% of their renewable energy and other sustainability improvements. The program is available in participating municipalities who opt to enter into voluntary agreements to finance installing renewable energy sources or energy efficiency improvements.
