This is an exemption from sales and use tax for certain solar, geothermal, and wind technologies. Companies engaged in the clean energy technology or renewable energy sector can claim this exemption. Sales and purchases on or after July 1, 2010 are eligible for up to 100% exemption on qualifying technologies.
