Arkansas allows municipalities and counties to issue energy efficiency project bonds. Eligible uses include projects that reduce energy consumption or operational costs or projects to install energy efficiency systems. Bonds can be issued for a maximum of 20 years. These bonds and their income are exempt from all state, county, and municipal taxes.
