SUMMARY:Webinar with the LDES Council: Bringing the Heat for Net Zero Industry
DESCRIPTION:On November 13\, the RTC held a webinar with the Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) Council\, the Brattle Group\, and Roland Berger to explore how innovations in thermal batteries will pave the road to industrial decarbonization. \nThermal batteries use simple components and storage materials to take clean electricity from grid and off-grid sources and convert it into continuous industrial heat\, helping to balance the power grid in the process. \nThe webinar focused on our recently released report\, Thermal Batteries: Opportunities to Accelerate Decarbonization of Industrial Heat\, developed in partnership with The Brattle Group.
