SUMMARY:Webinar: Chemical Sector Assessment
DESCRIPTION:On June 25\, 2024\, the RTC hosted an in-depth webinar unveiling our Chemical Sector Assessment\, supported by Accenture Development Partnerships. This report presents a streamlined roadmap for decarbonizing the chemical sector\, which contributes nearly 20% of overall U.S. industrial emissions. Focused on the three most emissions-intensive production processes — ammonia\, methanol\, and High-Value Chemicals (HCVs) — the assessment outlines how clean hydrogen\, waste-derived biomass\, and other low-carbon thermal technologies can reduce emissions by over 60% by 2050. Watch the webinar recording to hear a detailed exploration of the analysis and to hear the RTC’s recommendations for chemical companies\, their customers\, and policymakers looking to decarbonize this critical sector. \n  \nUse the form below to access the webinar recording:\nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Name *FirstLastEmail *Organization *Title *Would you like to receive occasional updates from the RTC?YesNoWatch the Recording \n

SUMMARY:RTC Heat Pump Decision Support Tools: Launching Version 2.0
DESCRIPTION:The RTC’s June 5\, 2025\, webinar launched version 2.0 of our Heat Pump Decision Support Tools. During this webinar\, the tool developers from Verco demonstrated how these freely available\, spreadsheet-based resources simplify the complex process of evaluating heat pump installations\, making it accessible for both technical and non-technical staff to understand the best fit for their industrial operations. The tools come in three parts: \n\nTool 1: Initial Screening helps companies understand where a heat pump might be useful\, identify suitable technologies\, and provide examples of similar installations using simple inputs.\nTool 2: Feasibility Assessment enables users to assess the commercial viability of a heat pump project for a specific site or operation. This tool now includes a rapid assessment feature for quicker feedback as well as improved cost and performance estimations.\nTool 3: Supplier Database – This tool connects users with heat pump providers worldwide\, allowing them to find suppliers based on country and desired technology type.\n\nThe webinar included a presentation from HEINEKEN’s Nuria Navarrete\, who shared practical insights and lessons learned from her company’s heat pump strategy and global implementations. \nFill out the form below to watch the webinar recording: \nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Name *FirstLastEmail *Organization *Title *Would you like to receive occasional updates from the RTC?YesNoWatch the Recording

SUMMARY:Industrial Heat Pumps: Because Wasting Heat Is So Last Century
DESCRIPTION:Featuring the IHP Alliance\, a collaborative initiative of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE)\, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)\, and the RTC. \nAir source heat pumps are gaining popularity and are increasingly supported by residential and commercial efficiency programs. Industrial heat pumps (IHPs) are just as worthy of your programs and attention! \nIn industry\, heat pump technology can be used to transfer ambient or waste heat from a lower-temperature source to a higher-temperature application\, enabling users to provide heat to industrial processes at very high efficiencies. Hear speakers from the Industrial Heat Pump Alliance share information on how IHPs work and the state of adoption\, decision support tools\, and education available to assist with integration into plants\, and how utilities\, efficiency implementers\, state energy offices\, and others can boost IHP implementation through energy efficiency programs and incentives. \nWatch On-Demand

SUMMARY:Report Launch Webinar: Powering American Industry
DESCRIPTION:Watch this recording of the Renewable Thermal Collaborative and Industrial Heat Pump Alliance’s June 23 webinar to learn about our new report\, Powering American Industry: The Economic Opportunity of Industrial Electrification\, produced by Greenline Insights. Report authors presented key findings and participated in a panel discussion with state and industry leaders about what it will take to realize the economic opportunity of industrial electrification. \nThe Powering American Industry report examines the economic opportunity tied to scaling industrial electrification in U.S. industry\, including how accelerated deployment and domestic manufacturing of key technologies could drive investment\, jobs\, GDP growth\, and broader economic output. \n  \nFill out the form below to watch the recording: \nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Name *FirstLastEmail *Organization *Title *Would you like to receive occasional updates from the RTC?YesNoWatch the Recording

SUMMARY:Commercializing Thermal Energy Storage Series: Lessons from Live Projects (Part 2)
DESCRIPTION:Watch this recording of the Renewable Thermal Collaborative’s July 7\, 2026 webinar to learn about successful use cases of thermal energy storage technology in the U.S. and in Europe. From financial incentives to process integration\, speakers from RTC Solutions Providers Antora Energy and Magaldi shared information about the path to commercial deployment\, including through project case studies. \nThe webinar aimed to better equip industrial end users considering thermal energy storage for their own facilities as well as policymakers and power supply stakeholders seeking to cost-effectively decarbonize operations with thermal solutions.
