DESCRIPTION:  \nPilot projects are critical stepping stones in the adoption of renewable thermal technologies. On the RTC’s case study webinar on May 19\, implementers from two pioneering pilots shared their experiences and lessons learned. \nAt SUNY Purchase\, RTC Solutions Provider Brenmiller Energy and the New York Power Authority (NYPA) deployed a 450 kW thermal energy storage system integrated with a combined heat and power microturbine. At Birra Peroni’s brewery in Bari\, Italy\, RTC Solutions Provider Absolicon installed a 460 kW solar thermal field and hot water storage tank to power the beer pasteurization process.
